Compact Rechargeable Battery which is very light and easy to carry. It has pedals which can be used in an emergency. So you can pedal away to the nearest charging point and you will never get stuck with a dead battery. Thus range anxiety is reduced a great deal by this bike.

Its one of the very few eScooter with bigger wheels. The best shock absorbers in the market will ensure you have a very comfortable ride.

The weird shaped frame is the weakest point of this bike. The length of the frame is small… like its good for kids & thin guys but I think a big 100kg person will find riding that bike really uncomfortable. Right now it is only good for 1 and half people, meaning 1 Adult & 1 kid.

If 2 people sit then the driver will have to slide a little in the seat towards the front and ride it with his knees spread out like a flying eagle.

Really can’t understand what they find so difficult in making the frame of the bike in India which is basically metallic pipes welded together!!!

The removable battery of this bike is very convenient. The travel of the shock absorbers are perfect… I would like riding it at top speed over a big speed breaker and making that “SOFT” landing again & again!… but only for fun not for work.

Love to buy this as a toy but cant be caught riding one shaped like this to office.

As long as companies keep making cars & bikes designed for chinese in India it will not sell. This design would have been excellent… 20 yrs ago… not today. Design is the sale-maker… mileage doesnt matter at all!

Harley Davidson, Enfield Bullet & Pulsers bikes which give mileage less than 40kmpl are good examples of how attractive design helps sales!!!

Even Revolt or Ather’s design is not much different from other scooter or motorcycle. We will not be able to recognize an Ather or Revolt from other scooters or motorcycles even 20 mtrs away.

When you look at a scooter or car 100 mtrs away you should be able to recall its brand… Make something different from the rest…Those are the ones that sell!!!

But most of the makers look first look at the cost and try to keep it lower than an imaginary line… which is an absurd way of looking at things. If this was a way to think then bikes like Harleys, Bullets & Pulsars would never be made!

Harley Davidson gives an average of just 20kmpl which is even way low for any bikes in the world. But it sells because of its design.

Ather experienced this with when 340 & 450 was released. Almost all their customers wanted the expensive powerful & better version.

Thus you can say that every price slab commands its own customers… BUT WHAT MATTERS is that the profits are smaller in the lower price ranges. This is a very important lesson that Ather has learnt in a very small period.

Okinawa sales prove that It really doesn’t make sense to manufacture an eBike below 100kms. When I say “today” I hope companies plan at least for the next 5 yrs. So 100kms range is good until 2025 or even 2030.

ALL EVs SHOULD AIM TO ACHIEVE A RANGE OF 200kms by 2050.

A Range of 200kms should be considered standard in 2050… like 80kms is considered a standard today!

I cannot see who PureEV is targeting with this vehicle?

  • Maybe school going kids?
  • Maybe guys who go to give newspapers & milk to houses?  or
  • Maybe Swiggy food delivery guys?
