Each country has its own advantages and disadvantages… different scope for different business or work.

US is good for business & software… GCC is good for Oil & Civil Engineering… China is good for manufacturing…. similarly for Agriculture there is no country in the world in comparison with India.

The only disadvantage about India is CORRUPTION in Govt offices.

For Agriculture if you…

have hot climate, water & sunlight… NOBODY CAN FAIL… we are failing ONLY because we are using WESTERN METHOD… just like they will fail if they use INDIAN METHODS THERE.

India is HOT & HUMID … that is BEST for Agriculture… it will be so even for 5,000 yrs from now… even if there is nuke blast
some suggestions are:

1. Plants should be mixed together as in nature… here and there… its will be difficult to harvest but easy to grow… remember harvesting is done only once while you need to tend to it daily. Mixing them up like in a jungle you will not even need to look at them or provide any nourishment.
2. If you follow Jungle-like farming you will save your time and not need any vermicompost, or greenhouse or aquaponics or hydroponics. These 4 are expensive to setup and meant for western countries that too where it is impossible to grow round the year. Instead of greeenhouse you can have a shadenet on roof and on that spread transparent plastic sheet. But even these are not necessary… unless heavy rain can create havoc (or there is water logging).
3. Construction of animal sheds with terrace will be expensive because they will need to be Load-Bearing and strong as it will carry people+mud+pot+plants. Its better if you use bamboo trellis and grow creeper vegetables on it like cucumber, bitter groud, bottle groud etc.
4. For Fencing use clumping bamboo and not runner bamboo.
5. Karimeen… is best fish to breed in a pond… the fav food of Karimeen is shit … yours or cattledung will do… no joke!!! What else do you want macha? It is the job of fishes to clean up the water and eat up such things.
6. Shit/Dung is the basic building block of Life on earth…. even plants need shit… whether its shit of human, animal, other plant or birds or fishes… its all excreta.
7. Dont breed that crap variety of GIFT and all that shitfish recommended by Govt Fisheries Inst. They are a big racket… Another big factor about Karimeen is that they will breed in you pond in huge quantities and you just need to keep the pond moving with a fountain and the pond has to be very deep (7ft) at one end so they can hide to lay eggs. Privacy is also required for them 😉
8. The ducks should use the pond with the fish. Ducks & Fish have a very close relationship… just like cow & grass… Ducks feed on the fish and fishes feed one the droppings of ducks.
9. Move the cattle to its food area… than the fodder to the cattle… its easier and less laborious . 8. Each animal and bird have their WORK to do on the farm and you must allow them to do it … else you will have to do their work.

11. Anyway the biggest problem in Indian Agriculture had been sales… Production has never been a big problem… the farmers had to sell to APMC market at low rates like Rs 1 per kg. Most of the farmers had to bend their knees at APMC agents because it was beyond their reach to load & transport their produce to cities.
12. Today with social media and digital payments SALES have become one of the easiest part of any trade. Today it is much easy to grow as a business using them.
13. Following large scale commercial & hi-tech models are dangerous… when you do it you are being controlled in a funnel in a single direction… there is no comeback. You do it or you die in debt. Anybody can grow 10 banana plant… but growing 1,000 banana plants are dangerous.
14. Use traditional & heirloom variety of seeds, animals, fish, birds. Never use “hi-yield” or “hi-bred” or GMO seeds… or subsidies… these are all called FUNNELS… created to trap newbie farmers.

16. Make waterbodies longer so that you can use solar powered boats for everybody to enjoy.
17. Use solar powered on house terrace and for garden lights for outdoor lighting.
18. Make a energy efficient earthen stove with oven to cook since you will have a lot of twigs and wood.
19. You can make cowdung logs, mosquito coil, dung-bricks, cowdung-pots, incense stick etc. These can be made with low cost machines powered by hand to compress the dung.

21. The usefullness of dung in all this will mean that you will need more cows than other animals. The quantity of dung also is more in cow than othes.
22. Create cheap mud houses for tourists for homestay!
23. The easiest way will be if at the end of say 3-5yrs the whole ecosystem can survive on its own without us or any other labour. Now would that be possible?
