Bajaj Auto sold approx 17,000 eScooter in Nov 2024… but in its Petrol 2 Wheeler category sales fell by more than 36,000 units!!! SHOCKING INDEED.

Bajaj Auto’s largest selling brand Pulsar…fell by 12% … sales fell by 15,936 Pulsar bikes.

Add to that loss Platina which fell by 16,029 bikes… add to that LOSS about 4,336 less Bajaj CT Bikes were sold.

…and just 621 Bajaj Dominar bikes were sold …

all over India in November… pretty pathetic !!!

So the TOTAL LOSS OF BAJAJ Petrol 2W SALE is 36,301 (15,936 + 16,029 + 4,336)

Bajaj sold just 17,000 eScooters in Nov 2024 and they are talking as if they set some world record.

The sale of 17,000 eScooters is not even half of the sale Bajaj Auto has LOST in the Petrol 2 Wheeler Sector… a loss which was DIRECTLY RELATED to the increasing sales of many eScooter manufacturers (like TVS, Ola, Ather, HeroMotorCorp, Ampere, and many other slow speed eScooters etc).

This LOSS is also because of Bajaj Auto CEO’s headstrong refusal to expand in EV sector citing “lack of direction” and “lack of charging infrastructure in India” till almost 2020.

Moreover Ola Electric has sold 4 lakh eScooters till date… Bajaj Auto is 2-3 Lakh behind Ola in sales!!!
