Its amazing to see that Zepto Cafe beat Zomato & Swiggit the food delivery companies to setting up Cloud Kitchens.

Tomato & Piggy were so much focused on how they can fool their customers by overpriced duplicate….

restaurant menus combined with charging a fee for delivery (while all restaurants in India deliver food free) and at the same time… also overcharging restaurants… that they completely missed this GREAT opportunity which was right under their nose.

These companies could have easily set up their own cloud kitchens.

Since they already have the data… on prices of different restaurants… and what sells most… they could have USED THE DATA to set up Hub-and-Spoke cloud kitchens offering same products at 50%-20% discount.

There is something that Zepto Cafe has that many App companies don’t have… that is the suggestion section on their app… on which they somehow seem take prompt action. They have turned this suggestion & implementation into an art.

Although a little expensive (Rs 100 to 200)… it is much less than what Tomato & Piggy charges (Rs 300-400). Also the kind of food available on Zepto is not available on Tomato or Piggy.

Zepto Cafe also has Fresh Chappatis for Rs 100 (10 Chappatis).
