Ola has been averaging above 300 sales per day on Vahan Dashboard since the 2nd week of the month of March 2026… Lets see how long it will continue.
What is extremely commendable is that Ola has achieved this in spite of closing more than 3,000 stores. This also shows that it is not just the number of store that drive sales… there are other factors too.
Ola’ sales had…
drastically fallen (below 300 per day) during previous few months of company’s “service-restructuring” effort.

Ola sold 243 units per day in 31 days of Jan, 141 Units in 28 days of Feb.
Question is… can it sell 9,300 units in March? (300 units in 31 days of March).
We at PlugInCaroo had recently posted that Ola had become one of the highest priced electric scooter/motorcycle while its rivals had decreased the price of their vehicles to half with BaaS offer.
We had requested Ola to bring in a lower priced vehicle and Ola dropped its Motorcycle price from Rs 99,000 to Rs 80,000… and sales just took off.
Price DROP has FINALLY WORKED. Magic dosent happen… it has to be created.
2 Wheelers are very price sensitive… the lowest priced vehicle usually get the most sale. Its the poor mans transport and this year eScooter sales had flattened.
Now that sales has picked up …there is hope that company could touch 10,000 sales in March 2026.
If this happens Ola will be back in the business.
