A major fire has destroyed the entire roster of electric bikes ahead of the MotoE World Cup — the electric spin off of MotoGP. The blaze ripped through the newly-built paddock after the first day of preseason testing in Jerez, Spain, with all the 18 bikes caught up in the damage.

India plans to achieve electric mobility by 2030 and welcomes Chinese industries participation and investment in the expansion of Indian Electric Vehicles (EV) Market, NITI AayogPrincipal Advisor Anil Srivastava said.
Srivastava, who led an industry delegation from India and addressed summit forum ‘Global Zero Emission and All Electric Vehicle’ held from January 11-13, met Chen Qingtai, President of China EV100, and invited China’s participation in India’s ambitious plans to go for full electric mobility.
The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) announced on 28 Feb 2019 that it will set up a network of solar-based electric vehicles (SEVC) on the Delhi-Chandigarh highway. In an official statement, the company said, “The EV charging stations will be installed between the Delhi and Chandigarh at an interval of 250 km”.
EV Charging station in Netherlands! BHEL could be installing something similar! Each BHEL SEVC charging station will be equipped with a roofing solar power plant.

Tata has been talking big (bullshit, buffalo shit and elephant shit) about electric cars since the last 10 YEARS!!! It showcased Indica Vista Electric Car & Nano Electric car in 2010 and talked about them… yet they never mass manufactured them.
Tatat NEVER EVER produced a electric vehicle from the ground up. They kept converting their ICE Cars to EVs and called them electric cars!!! LOL.
At the same time here is Techinical Partha showing you how to easily convert a Tata Nano to a Nano EV… with 4 batteries & 2 electric motors. Obviously removing the ICE engine is more difficult than attaching the electric motors. Tata Nano being a rear wheel drive vehicle makes it a perfect vehicle for converting to electric car.
It looks more peppy than the original NANO! Although top speed is less the torque seems to be much higher.
