Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana

The scheme aims to equip one crore (10 million) households with rooftop solar panels in a bid to provide electricity from solar energy… this is nothing short of HUGE!

The scheme would not only reduce the electricity bill of the poor and middle class but would also make India self-reliant in the energy sector.

PM Modi has urged the officials to start a massive national campaign to mobilise residential segment consumers to adopt rooftop solar in large numbers.

Rooftop solar panels reduces the consumption of the grid-connected electricity and saves electricity cost for the consumer.

India reached around 73.31 GW as of December 2023… of which Rooftop solar is around 11.08 GW.

Centre’s National Rooftop Scheme provides financial assistance totaling 40% of the capital cost of a solar rooftop project.

India needs to recall 80% “accelerated depreciation” in Wind Energy sector to show West who is the Best!!! | Bring all guns to the battle!

Until 2016 the Wind Energy sector had enjoyed accelerated depreciation (AD) of 80 per cent under the Income Tax Act. But in March 2016 (Budget) Indian govt reduced 80% depreciation to 40% depreciation. Wind Energy in India has barely survived since then.

India needs to show the WEST that India can LEAD the world into Renewable Energy Transition

What is Accelerated Depreciation?: Accelerated depreciation is…

Is Simple Energy Fake? EV Questions & Answers

Q1. Why there is no standardized one sized battery for eScooters or eCars?

A1. Batteries of all voltage & Ah are easily available or can be custom-made in open market so it is not a big problem. So there is no need for a uniform model of battery.

In ICE vehicles also the size of the fuel tank of each model is different. In EVs you can use bigger or smaller pack than that given by the Company. That is something that cannot be done in ICE vehicles… at least not as easily.

Q2. Is Simple faking Ather bike or Fake Bike? It had Ather’s registration number & its specs were changed just before launch

A2. Simple is a reverse-engineered Ather scooter… just like that crap Honda UGo eScooter. Unlike Honda the team at Simple have been able to provide a better DEMO-Vehicle, better VISION & a better BUSINESS-PLAN THAN both ATHER, HONDA or ANY other vehicle maker in India including Tata, Mahindra, Ather, HeroElectric, HeroMotors, PureEV, Ampere, etc.

The fact that they are able to…

World’s richest 10% produce 50% of CO2 Shit!

Narendra Modi has done well to stand up to the US & the tiny European Countries bulling larger Asian, Arab and African nations to submit to their demand of abandoning cheap and abundant energy like COAL, GAS & OIL.

For countries like China and India the availability of coal as an energy source is not only cheap but also abundant which they cannot do without. Developing Countries cannot do without coal  until the day comes when the AVAILABILITY of renewable energy is as cheap and as abundant as COAL. The fact is renewable energy like solar panels, wind turbines and their energy plants have become cheaper to build, operate and maintain. But as of now although the price of Renewable Energy is low… the availability is NO WHERE NEAR ABUNDANT. Ways and means of incorporating renewable energy into our daily life are still being considered, planned and designed. Possibly 10 yrs down the developing countries might reach a point where the developed countries are today having installed sufficient Renewable Energy systems to pledge to do away with Coal and all Fossil Fuels.

Oxfam published the numbers as negotiators from 195 countries met in Paris to wrangle over a climate rescue pact.

The richest 10 per cent of people produce half of Earth’s climate-harming fossil-fuel emissions, while the poorest half contribute a mere 10 per cent, British charity said in a study released today.

Energy World Qatar

#EnergyWorldQatar

Visited the Energy World Qatar expo in Doha, Qatar going on from 18 to 28 November 2015. An awesome display of information regarding Science and Energy aimed towards the kids and people. What was interesting was while people were having a great time playing with different equipments they were also learning the science behind it. Even the parents were enjoying themselves. Qatar should seriously consider setting a building for this kind of stuff. Wonder why no Schools were invited to attend the Expo? Most of the volunteers were very active and enjoying distributing information.

It started off with a short Movie show which explained the resource crunch that the world will experience in the coming years not on one front but on 3 fronts – ENERGY, WATER and FOOD. The world will be screaming for these three as more… Continue reading
