We Indians have no problem with chinese people and have been trading with China for centuries. But we have problem with the current China Government and we do not like of ANY country trying to take our land. Neither will you if any country tries to talk trade in the morning and capture land in the night.

Chinese government has been not only trying to be the neighborhood thug by trying to capture unmanned areas but is also trying to keep the Chinese people suppressed and work like robots. China has already overtaken US in manufacturing smartphones. So it is impossible to compete with them on this front.
Pretty soon we will see many countries leaving china to manufacture in their own countries. Big credit for this will go to Donald Trump who has already started to get companies to manufacture in US. It will take a couple of years for made-outside-china smartphone to appear in the market. But it surely will.
China’s intention was to invest in indian app making companies and to takeover them and shift them out to china and make them Chinese companies has received a big blow by the call of Sonam Wangchuk. If we just stop using apps from china or funded from china then too it will make a huge impact.
We dont have a choice in hardware as of now but for apps we have a choice. If we use Chinese apps then it will feed the “dragon” to oppress its own people and keep harassing all its neighbor countries. Because whenever there is strife inside China it has a habit to create trouble with its neighbor countries.
There are a lot of apps which can replace TikTok and quite a few of them are Indian apps. Indian apps are unique in the sense that they cannot be accessed from outside India and they are very happy with the traffic they seem to generate locally.
Dr Li Wenliang (12 October 1986 – 7 February 2020) was a Chinese ophthalmologist who worked at Wuhan Central Hospital. On 30 December 2019, Li received an internal diagnostic report of a suspected Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) patient from other doctors… which he in turn shared with his friends. He was dubbed a whistleblower when that shared report later circulated publicly despite him requesting confidentiality from those he shared the information with. Rumours of a deadly SARS outbreak then spread quickly on Chinese social media platforms, and Wuhan police summoned and admonished him for “making false comments on the Internet about unconfirmed SARS outbreak” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Wenliang
Tiananmen Square protests or the Tiananmen Square Incident, commonly known as the June Fourth Incident in mainland China, were student-led demonstrations held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing during 1989. The popular national movement inspired by the Beijing protests is sometimes called the ’89 Democracy Movement. The protests started on April 15 and were forcibly suppressed on June 4 when the government declared martial law and sent the military to occupy central parts of Beijing. In what became known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre, troops with assault rifles and tanks fired at the demonstrators and those trying to block the military’s advance into Tiananmen Square. Estimates of the death toll vary from several hundred to several thousand, with thousands more wounded. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_Tiananmen_Square_protests
