Milkman on EV hotwheels! Result of wrong Engg practices in Engineering Colleges

Don’t know if you guys realized that he is riding an electric vehicle?

The hub motor in the rear & the electric motor in front of the rear wheel at 00:07 is a clear giveaway… he also seem to have a set of 3 Lead-Acid batteries on his bonnet… at least he doesn’t have to worry about any battery fire 😉 in the lifetime of the car.

As a Go-Kart it is very good.

At least he put his automobile engineering project… to some good use… but it is VERY UNSAFE… because…

The projects in Engineering Colleges have certain rules and the students have to make their projects like this Go-Kart. This is ok to be used in controlled environment but very unsafe for the driver if used on Roads which have Buses, Trucks, Trailer, Tankers & SUVs.

A truck can easily run over this kart.

A taller EV like an electric Rickshaw modified into a 4×4 capability similar to an old JEEP would be more practical.

Engineering Colleges should stop using outdated and useless Go-Kart-Size models and at least shift to e-Rickshaw-size models.

I believe these colleges lack a lot in design aesthetic, vehicle safety, understanding of Indian climate & common sense.

How on earth can a company in India even think of making an ugly car like NANO with 1 wiper and no airconditioner?… that too in a country that rains elephant & camels. Common sense hai ya nahi?

The maker of the Nano car should be made to drive the Nano car with single wiper and no AC in heavy monsoon in the Konkan Ghats… that too on a moonless amavasya night!!!
