Why TATA will NEVER encourage EVs

Tata Petrodyne is one of the leading Oil and Gas Companies with yearly turnover of around 200 Billion Dollars. It is a subsidiary company of the great TATA companies. It is recognized for its Gas, Oil, and Petroleum Products business and is headquartered in Mumbai. This company has interest in two offshore blocks in UK and Australia respectively as well as seven offshore and onshore blocks in different states of India.

ELECTRIC CAR BUSINESS WILL DIRECTLY EFFECT 200 BILLION DOLLARS!!!

Govt should black list such companies from its EV TENDER. Such companies are just putting a “FRONT” in promoting Electric Cars.

Corrupt Govt officers refuse Electric Cars

In a major setback to the Indian government and Mr Nitin Gadkari’s big push fpr using electric cars with a view to save petrodollars, the senior government officials have refused to use electric cars made by homegrown carmakers – Mahindra and Tata Motors according to the report in Livemint.

Corrupt Govt pocket petrol allowance & refuse EVs

Corrupt Govt pocket petrol allowance & refuse EVs

In less than a year after state-run Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) floated a tender for 10,000 electric cars amid much fanfare, India’s EV growth story seems to be headed in a wrong direction.

Ssenior government officials have refused to use electric cars made by homegrown carmakers Mahindra and Tata Motors. The babus were claiming to be unhappy with the 80kms range of the car but the real reason obviously would be the huge allowance that the government staff get for using Petrol/Diesel cars.

We at PlugInCaroo feel the only way ahead would be to cancel the petrol allowance of every government staff who refuses to use electric vehicle because perhaps the staff finds the petrol vehicle more efficient and saves more money than the electric vehicle and thus he shouldn’t mind paying the petrol allowance from his own pocket.

Joke of the Year… Suzuki, Toyota sign MoU to make EVs in India…LOL

Expect dramatic shift in Indian EV Market… by yesterday!

Yep… not tomorrow… cause tomorrow already has become yesterday… that’s the pace the Indian Govt seems to be working… at least on Paper.

Looks like PM Modi has some issues to settle with Elon Musk… for not taking his offer to Make in India. If India get this done… Elon could well become bankrupt… (ISRO already has half of Elon’s Pie).

As per the plan on paper India could have govt battery plant and battery swapping and charging stations by 2018… Gigawatt size plant by 2020… and all diesel and petrol vehicles will be “DEMONITIZED” by 2032!… lol that woke up a lot of sleeping petrol heads… Wake up guys… the petrol/diesel car you buy today will become JUNK in 5 years time.

For a govt that could demonetize 80% of a country’s currency overnight… this would be a walk in the park…

The recommendations in a draft report…
by Niti Aayog, the planning body headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has recommended around 17 MAJOR DISRUPTIVE ideas like… Continue reading

Maruti pulls out of International EV Consortium

After Ford, Maruti too pulls out of International Consortium for EVs called xEV. This consortium created about 1 year ago consisted of Industry leaders like Tata-Mahindra-Maruti-Suzuki-Toyota-Ford.

What is interesting to note is that more than Toyota & Ford it is the Indian companies Tata & Mahindra who have developed and showcased and even sold Electric cars. (Actually if not for the stupid Cyrus “Mystery” even Tata Nano EV would have been on the streets by now because they had showcased the car around the same time as Reva NXR aka E2O.

Strong sales of the Tata Nano in recent months will see the firm double its production output of the car.

The move will see up to 20,000 Nanos built per month this fiscal year (April 2016 – March 2017).

Sales in March of the micro car reached 8,707 units, closing in on the firm’s record high of 9,000 sales, which was set in July last year.

For years the competing auto companies regularly pulled down the vehicle citing safety concerns. Tata Nano with is in fact as safe or unsafe as an Hyundai i10 which also doesn’t have Airbags.

Tata Nano is also one thousand times more safer than bikes, scooters & motorcycles and It is also much safer than the 3 wheel auto-rickshaw too. But these are modes of transport of millions of Indians and billions worldwide.

Many people do not understand that NCAP Safety Ruling has been used as a very cunning Trade Barriers to block the entry of Asian cars into US & European countries. NCAP keeps testing frontal crashes at 60kmph when in real life the crashes which happen due to overspeeding is ALWAYS above 100kmph.

All subcompact cars (be it the Alto, i10, WagonR, Celerio, Beat, or from Volkswagen, Mercedes, BMW.. all) due to their short bonnet or “nose” are equally UNSAFE at this speed.

Frontal crash of 60kmph mean… both cars are traveling at 30kmph in a head-on crash… get real… 30kmph speed mean city bumper to bumper city traffic…

People have started to realize that Tata NANO GenX Automatic is one awesome car!!!
