- POWs must not be subjected to insults or exposure to public curiosity.
- POWs must not be the subject of reprisal.
- POWs must be protected against murder, torture, and cruel, humiliating, and degrading treatment.
Other considerations:

- POW camps must be situated at a safe distance from the combat zone.
These people were not even POWs.

Even prisoners of war AND even Death Row Criminals have rights… similarly while deporting immigrants whether legal or illegal has its own protocol… What Trump tried to do was DICTATE TERMS to other countries that he was the boss and he doesn’t care for rules. He tired to do it with his ABSURD TARRIFS and China called his bluff.
Any wrong action can be justified by many reasons. But what he did that day has never been done in history.
