Meru Cabs – No hidden fares

Meru Cabs are the best in the business of Taxi Cabs… PlugInCaroo advice is to stick to Meru cabs as drivers & passengers (riders). Meru has no hidden fares and no surge pricing. Forget about Uber & Ola both of whom use tricky fares, hidden fares, surge pricing and also exploit the drivers.

Personally I always use Meru cabs and they have never let me down. They are the most dependable & affordable Radio-Taxi, Website & Smartphone App based cabs in the bigger cities of India.  After you make the booking over your smartphone app the… Continue reading →

Now shipping container swimming pools & fish farms

A traditional swimming pool can cost anywhere from $6000 for an above ground pool to $50,000 for a fully automated in-ground pool, not to mention excavation and decking costs. A used shipping container can be sourced for around $2000 and converted into an above or below-ground pool measuring 6m or 12m long and 2.4m wide. The shipping container will need to be modified to remove the roof, but this provides flexibility with the depth of the pool, allowing for a shallow wading pool or a deeper lap pool up to 2.5m deep. It’s up to you!

Continue reading →

ISRO pulled the pants off Elon Musk

When ISRO launched 104 satellites into space on 15 Feb 2017… it completely exposed Elon Musk and his boast of sending cheaper flights into space using re-useable flyback rockets.

Whatever Elon Musk does it cannot put a dent in ISRO’s business. At his most effective he might just be able to keep USA in the business of sending satellites into space but still the cost would be much higher than the cost of ISRO’s.

Aussies know that they can never win a single cricket match if proper cricket is played in spite of having some what good players… 😉

Ian Chappel & Greg Chappel.jpg

Found this pair the other day in a flea-mart!

These blokes always pick up something to complain about whenever visiting other countries. They always have Ian “Chappal” covering their backs in his column. Why his article gets published in Indian newspapers is a mystery in itself.

This “Chappal” is the same guy who was intensely vocal that Tendulkar should retire 7yrs before he did. The other half of of this Chappal.. Continue reading →

Tata Nano Electric coming in next 3 months!!!

On Sept 2016 Youtuber Ajeet Dhale captured AH47 Tata Nano that seemed to take off and could do 120kmph at ease. This Nano could be seen overtaking Trucks, motorcycles and other cars with ease. Electric Nano is the only version that was delayed by the most useless CEO of Tata… Mr Cyrus Mystry.

Since Tata likes to launch Nano during the 1st half of the year rather than the second half so that during the festival season the cars are available in the showrooms we can be pretty sure the Tata Nano Electric Car will be announced anytime within the next 4 months!!!

Watch out for March 2017, April 2017 and May 2017

Tata Hexa was the other car with Nano (which probably Ajeet Dhale thought was Aria) and this Tata Hexa was released in Jan 2017 which would very much indicate that the Nano EV too would be relesing shortly.

How to solve Uber Taxi crisis

At this very moment Uber the ponzi scheme company is out destroying Taxi markets around the world. Ponzi scheme is a company that announces to double your money in 6months or 1 year. Uber is an ABSOLUTELY FRAUD COMPANY… announcing low prices and yet overcharging its customers… and defrauding its drivers.

UBER is tells its driver to get a minimum Rs8,00,000 (US$11,764) car then UBER pay them at the rate of Rs6 per km!!! … and then from their collection (not profit) take away 25%…WTF??!! 10% of operating cost is the profit what most taxi owners make after investing Rs800,000 now UBER wants to make more than what the taxi owners make without investing anything and also by reducing prices!!!

Passengers (riders) are paying more… while drivers are getting less for eg. people who were paying Rs 150 with local taxi are now paying Rs 500 with Uber while drivers find their income dropping. So where is the cash going?

Uber uses various techniques like Continue reading →
