Today Ola Electric presented their electric motorcycle which has a range of 500kms. But the presentation was not up to the mark… possibly for lack of time for preparation or being put up hurriedly. This was an opportunity to hit the ball out of the park… but alas! They made so many mistakes:

1. FOR HEAVEN SAKE … Is this the way to present a HISTORIC 500Km Range Bike? …Please send both of them to a week of detention and write a hundred times “How to Make a Presentation” and take tuitions from Tarun Mehta of Ather…. It was a historic Event and presented by 2 school kids.

2. What kind of a tiny stage and backdrop was that? Stage for Kindergarten School Play? We are really pissed off on you guys… with such poor presentation You guys are throwing water on the hardwork of your entire team.

3. The lady was completely reading specs off the screen? First of all if the person doing the presentation is REALLY IN THE THICK OF THINGS… why do they need so much prompting? and GROW UP GUYS… place the teleprompter at eye level … like our PM/ Newsreaders/ YouTubers does… (and not on the floor… it becomes so much obvious as the reader has to lower their eyelids).

4. The flow of the presentation was repeatedly broken because the teleprompter screen was slow to move to the next screen… maybe the battery had died down… and why have more than 10 slides?

5. Stop putting animation on the screen… that too along with text… it is so kiddish….and distracting… there should be just 10 slides with just one word on each slide for each topic… no other letters are needed… is that too complicated?

6. If both of you are not comfortable to memorize 10 slides sub topics… then pls let someone who is good at presenting do it. There needs to be no shame in it. Maybe keep a Monthly Presentation Competition among the staff of various department in your company and select the winner do the presentation… the guy who asked the 2nd question would have been a better presenter… else get an Eemcee to do the presentation… you guys are giving presentation a “chalta-hai” attitude… aaisa nahi mangta!

7. Design: There is NOTHING to laugh at the design of the competition… they have very beautiful design across all of their vehicles … Bajaj, TVS, HeroMotorCorp and Enfield all of them have topnotch design. … Ola Electric Motorcycle are the guys with the crappy design. In fact the Ola motorcycle design stands out like a sore thumb… it has boxy and pointed design rather than having rounded and aerodynamic edges. On the other hand the Ola eScooter is better on the eye than this thing… the motorcycle design is TOO JAARING in all 3 versions.

8. Pls make a recorded-edited video rather than something on-the-spot-presentation like this. Else… just put the bike in front of the media and take questions… without the presentation.

9. 500 km range Motorcycle is too good a vehicle at this price and will indeed sell like hot cakes. So this is a bike which can go from Mumbai to almost Ahmedabad or Malegaon or Kudal non stop.
