Donald Trump talked about many great things he has planned for America in his address to congress. There he had talked about “some countries” taxing American Harley Davidson motorcycles 100% Tax and called it unfair. Well that country was none other than India. He wants taxing in other countries to be fair…

Really? Mahindra has being trying to sell their vehicles in USA but still has not been successful to even get entry Tata had to buy the British Jaguar Land Rover brand to even qualify to sell “popcorn” in US and yet Nano has still not been allowed into US based on continuously increasing standards aimed to keep the Nano out… so much for talks about “being fair”. Same also for Indian pharmaceutical, garments & agricultural produce getting banned for vague reasons.  People who live in glass houses should not throw stones on others!!!

LeEco just leapfrogged Tesla!

While Tesla engineers have been gradually adding autonomous capabilities to its electric stable, Chinese firm LeEco has gone one step further and announced a car that can do it right from the off.

The LeSEE car from China, managed to drive itself on the stage with little more than a few voice commands spoken into a smartphone by CEO Jia Yueting. It even reversed, too.

Why Gogoro Electric Scooter is a Joke!

Gogoro is a scooter that travels 100km IF…IF…. IF driven at 25kms speed and possibly 50kms if driven at higher speed. It has battery you cannot charge at home or anywhere at all… if you want to charge it then you got to take it to the charging station… for which you have to drive to the nearest charging station to swap the batteries… The Scooter itself is so short and small that only 1 adult can sit on the scooter. But in its website it keeps talking about “carrying another passenger”…wonder where? On your lap or your shoulder? Which is why of all the thousands of images of the scooter very few is there of the scooter with side view like below… even in this the rider has been pushed to the front and his knees is touching the front part of the bike.To go through all this torture you have to shell out…

China makes first electric passenger plane

Beijing:  China has produced the world’s first electric passenger aircraft to gain an airworthiness certificate.

The “BX1E” has a 14.5-metre wingspan and a maximum payload of 230 kg. It can fly at an altitude of 3,000 metres, Xinhua news agency reported. It can be charged within two hours and can fly for 45 minutes to an hour at a maximum speed of 160 kmph.
