Ather Konarc Z the TOP Variant has to be one of the best Scooter in India… and without doubt in the world.

Ather Energy has hit it out of the park with this one. It has broken all of the Industry standards and written its own. They have spent the RnD capital very well.

It is quite amusing to see that Ather Energy and Ola Energy are improving various Industry parameters while the Petrol Scooter companies can do NOTHING but watch… they have nothing except a pathetic battery pack and sad touch screen.

Tarun Mehta was his usual best with the presentation… and the work the team has put in Konarc has been commendable. Hats off to the whole team… western countries would be bowled over by Ather Scooter for sure.

But after Ather gave this magical presentation what hit the showrooms was the Base S-variant of Konarc which had none of the bells-and-whistles or the “conveniences” like AirWalk… AutoPop… ExtendableGrabHandle… TouchScreen which pretty much put-off the excited customers who crowded Ather Showrooms.

Another bouncer that Ather Bowled at the customers was the NON-EXISTANCE of BaaS financing. Just when everybody thought that BaaS is here to rescue the eScooter Companies it gets pulled off. This would definately give some solace to its rivals for some time till Konarc-Z comes to the showroom and the showroom staff gets to showoff the vehicle.

Once again… hats off to Tarun, Swapnil and the entire team of the work that has been done on Konarc-Z.

It would have been great if Ather can offer customization by offering 14 inch FAT-BOY tyres (front and rear) at Rs 1.80 to 2 Lakhs… that would be like icing on the cake.
