1. GoGoRo business model will struggle in India just like Indian business model will struggle in Taiwan

2. Ola will takeover the entire scooter business (petrol+eScooter) in India in 3 short years

Hero, Bajaj, TVS, have just 3 yrs to find a business, bring it to India, get it started… do advertisment and find buyers… Bajaj is setting up a new company for EV Vehicles… Hero Motorcorp is bringing Gogoro business to India… obviously there is no time for all this circus… they should have invested in an Indian startup which is already making eScooters… best one to buy was PureEV.

If I was to invest in a company I would have invested in PureEV… lambi race ka ghoda hai yea PureEV…

I think the Heros, Bajajs, TVS, etc they have no idea what is going to hit them in 1.5 year time

Ather now has to turn their business model around completely! They can do it because they ARE in INDIA and think like Indians… a guy sitting in Taiwan cannot think like an Indian. Neither can I think like a Taiwainese… that too in very short timespan.

Its really shocking Hero Motorcorp cannot find an EV solution for India from India… its too late in the day to bring in a foreign business model in India..

There is a vast difference between Taiwan & India…. their roads & our… their body size and ours… their body weight & ours… their family size & ours… their income & our… the size of their country & ours!!! Everything is up and down… there is no comparison.

Gogoro scooter is a beauty… but will always be more expensive than local solutions…

Time is running out on Hero Motorcorp & their ICE collegues…

1. *Removable Battery eScooters NO NOT NEED ANY charging Infrastructure!* … when will these ICE guys learn!

2. Scooters are used in India to travel less than 20kms daily (obviously we would travel more if our city roads were like Taiwan roads)… forget roads… even if we had even as much road markings we would ride more…

Horace Luke has no idea where he is going… he is going to ride into a storm… I think he needs to spend at least 1 week traveling in Indian city by road to see where he is going! Better if he can do it on a No-moon night in the Monsoon!!!
