Some companies charge Rs 2 per km … others charge Rs 1.24 per km… billed for a min of 1,000 kms per mth.

The advertisement says… get the vehicle at half price (approx)… but is it really so?

EG: a Rs 1,00,000 eScooter price is split in 2… Rs 50,000 for the scooter and Rs 50,000 for the battery…. so you pay 2 EMIs… say Rs 2,000 EMI for scooter and Rs 2,000 EMI for Battery… so at the end of month you pay Rs 4,000 as total EMI.

But the EMI of Rs 1,00,000 Ola escooter is just Rs 3,848.

Shorter range means you will have to recharge more often per week… maybe 5 times instead of just 2. A big head ache… in case of the 500km range Ola you just have tonrecharge just once a week… just like you refill your petrol scooter.
