For the FY 2026 Ather approx had a Revenue of 3,600 Crs and a Loss of 517 Crs… while Ola Electric had a Revenue of 2,500 Crs and a Loss of 1,800 Crs.

For Q4 FY 2026… Ather had approx Revenue of 1,200 and loss of 100 Cr… Ola had Revenue of Rs 265 Crs and Loss of 500 Crs.

Ather FY 2026 performance and see that it had jus 500 Cr Loss on a Revenue 3,600. In Q4 the Loss was 100Cr on Revenue of approx 1,200 which is less than 10% of its Revenue.

Many people look at Ola’s Q4 and think how can a company incure more loss than its Revenue (sales)?

It is because Ola spends huge amount of money on its cell development (something no other companyn dared to do till now… having plans are completely another thing…and pumping money to do RnD to perfect the cell development is something else.

Also remember Ola is working on multiple battery chemistry like NMC, LFP and even Sodium-Ion). Also Ola is working on other vehicle (eRickshaw and eCar) and BESS platforms. All of this costs huge money.
