No BaaS — the Ather Konarc does not come with a Battery‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS) option. BaaS is currently offered only on the Rizta and 450 Series, not on the Konarc.

The Konarc is positioned above Rizta as a more advanced family scooter, prioritizing comfort, practicality, and smart tech. Rizta remains the affordable entry option with BaaS (Battery‑as‑a‑Service), while Konarc adds premium features for riders seeking convenience and connected mobility.

New Features in Ather Konarc (Not in Rizta)

  • AEBS braking system Advanced Electronic Braking System for safer, more controlled stops. Rizta only offered conventional braking.
  • MagicKey boot access Keyless boot unlocking with auto‑pop convenience. Rizta lacked this smart access feature.
  • 31‑litre underseat storage Larger boot space compared to Rizta’s smaller compartment, plus integrated lamp and USB‑C charging port.
  • Combined 1.35 kW charging Dual charger setup (450W onboard + 900W off‑board) reduces charging time by nearly half. Rizta only had standard charging.
  • Suspension & wheelbase upgrades 90mm front / 100mm rear suspension travel and longest 1,352mm wheelbase for stability. Rizta’s setup was shorter.
  • 7‑inch TFT connected display Supports navigation, call/SMS alerts, music controls, and app connectivity. Rizta had a simpler LCD console.
  • Reverse assist & AutoHold Park Assist for backing out of tight spots and AutoHold to keep scooter stationary. Rizta lacked these rider aids.
  • Air Walk & Find My Scooter Helps push scooter easily when punctured and locate it via connected app. Rizta did not include these smart features.

SHARE HOLDER CORNER:

  1. The fact a better vehicle could not command a higher price… is cause for worry.
  2. Metal Body of Konarc will increase the cost of the product compared to plastic body… but sale price is lower for lower variant and same price for higher as Rizta… cause for worry.
  3. Lack of BaaS financing for Konarc could mean much reduced sale compared to Rizta.
  4. Will this model reduce the profit margin even more? The company is still in Loss… after 13 yrs.
  5. Is the Share Price too bloated? …When comparing it to Hero Motorcorp share price and nos of vehicle sales?
